Torrid Temptations!
Today I've got my first post over on the Whiskey Creek Press Torrid blog, Torrid Temptations. To be honest, I've read that blog for so long that it's such a thrill to finally be a part of it! Of course, I talked about The Christmas Candy Anthology which is my first release with WCPT. My next release is scheduled for July, so you'll all have to just wait and see what the folks over at WCPT and I have in the works.

New Release!
It's December 1st and you know what that means, don't you?
The Whiskey Creek Press Torrid Christmas Candy Anthology is available! Of course I have a story in the anthology, a steamy little number called Gingerbread Anyone? that I think will keep the home fires burning. A collection of ten hot holiday reads, this book is one that's sure to generate heat on a cold winter's night.
Head on over to WCPT and check it out -- I think you'll be glad you did! www.whiskeycreekpress.com

Summersong
Great news! I've been keeping this to myself for the past few weeks, just savoring the wonderful feeling a bit before sharing it with anyone, but here it is, the day after Thanksgiving, and I feel all warm and fuzzy inside and want to share. So here it is...
My second title with Liquid Silver Books, Summersong, has been accepted for publication! I don't have any idea when it'll be released, I haven't even begun edits on it yet but I'm so thrilled about this!
I loved writing this book, loved every moment of watching the character evolve. I'm hoping that readers enjoy it, too.
I'll keep you posted on developments as they happen. :-)

Yesterday was the first time I posted to the SEx - Silver Expressions. It's the Liquid Silver Books blog and can be found at
http://www.liquidsilverbooks.com/blog/.
I had a blast, loved being a part of the whole group blog and loved getting feedback from readers. When you write it's most often a solitary activity. The feedback from readers is so special in that it reminds the writer that her words are being shared, her written worlds and experiences are being enjoyed by others. It's a great feeling.
Me? I can't wait until it's my turn to play at SEx again. :-)

Hi all, The Liquid Silver Books November newsletter came out a few days ago, and it features one of my Granny's recipes in it -- her Thanksgiving cornbread. It's tasty and quick to prepare, so if you haven't seen it yet you just might want to head on over to the LSB site, sign on for the newsletter and take a peek! There are loads of other interesting bits and pieces in the newsletter, too, about some of the super writers at Liquid Silver. So go on over, take a look...what have you got to lose? And while you're there, be sure to pick up a copy of Miami Honey--if you haven't already done that. :-) Until next time...Rusty

Hi all, This is my first post on my brand-spanking-new blog and suddenly me, the one whose mouth runneth over all the time, is at a loss for words. What to say? Where to start? Ahh, with the introduction. Obviously, I'm Rusty Wicks, Romance Writer. At least that's what it says at the top of the page, right? So there, that was easy enough. I had my first erotic romance published with Liquid Silver Books recently and I'm jazzed over the whole experience. It's called Miami Honey and is a story of love and lust amidst sun and sand. What more could anyone ask for? I've got a bunch of other titles that will be published in the upcoming months with various publishers. It's my intention to keep everyone up to speed on them with regard to release dates, excerpts and cover art. I'll also let you have a peek into the life of an erotic romance writer. I imagine you've got an idea of what it's like . . . let's see if your ideas match the reality of it. So sit back, relax and let's see where this ride takes us, okay? And welcome--that's the most important thing I can say to you right now. Welcome to my world.
