Cover Art

I don't know if it's true for you, but I know I almost always investigate inside a book's cover based in large measure on whether or not I like the cover. I know the story behind a cover that doesn't appeal to me could be one of the greatest stories ever told but chances are I'm not going to read it unless someone tells me it's out of this world. I hardly ever buy books with dull, ugly covers. I'm sorry if I've offended anyone, but it's the truth. I do judge a book by its cover.

What about you? Do you sometimes buy a book based on the appeal of the cover? And what cover elements especially attract you?

I like covers with color. And men. I don't mind a bit of eye candy. So you can tell, can't you, that the cover of Bella Notte really makes me happy!

I like to see a man on the cover too. Like Irish Eyes-now that's a hot cover!!! I could just stare at that one forever. ;-) The hotter the better, in my opinion!

Timing is one of my favorites of yours. Liquid Silver puts out some dynamite covers. Whiskey Creek does too. Carolyn is right, Irish Eyes is one hot cover. Nice torso. *G*
